Memory is messy.
That’s the point.
These are arranged as chapters, not a ledger: growing up, seeing more of the world, finding photography and building a life with the people who stayed. Some moments have exact dates. The oldest ones only need to be remembered.
The 1990s–2000s
Childhood
Boats, snow, animals, family trips and small enterprises—the ordinary pieces of growing up that only become precious later.
2011–2014
The world got bigger
Life after high school brought travel, snow days and new adventures. The camera started coming everywhere, and the snapshots began to feel less like records and more like my own story.
2015 onward
Building a life together
Moving to Atkins, bringing Boo, Jack and eventually Cleo into our family, and filling the years with trips, home, work and everything still unfolding. This chapter is still being written.
